I bought these specifically for my son's wedding reception.I knew I would have a full day on my feet and suffer from plantar faciatis if I wear anything but Birkenstocks.I suffered through the ceremony in regular shoes and could hardly make it until the end. I then switched into the Birki's and enjoyed the entire evening walking and dancing.No, maybe they didn't look really dressy but I had a long dress on and no one could see them.
