Eccos were recommended to me by my sister, my travel companion; she brought 2 pairs with her on our European trip.Passed an Ecco store in Copenhagen; found a pair of the Quintan Sandals and that was it!Bought this pair and a pair of plainer sandals.I wear these with socks and the other pair without.Previously I have needed thick-soled sneakers to cushion my feet which often become painful otherwise.Finding sandals that were comfortable and fit was almost impossible.These were the perfect replacement.The fit was excellent (sometimes difficult since I wear a 10N); adjustable when I've been on my feet all day, and much cooler than sneakers.My sister says she throws them in the washing machine even though they're leather - they look like new when they've been washed.Haven't tried this yet but probably will since the insole is fabric.Except for hiking and beachwear, I think these will be my full time casual shoes.I love each pair!!
