Review of Earth Men's Acadia River Sandal

I have been a wearer of Birkenstock for more than 15 years. I thought I would never switch. I bought these on a lark, thinking I might like the "negative heel" technology. I got so much more out of them. I have had a tilted pelvis all my life, and from the moment I stood up in these shoes, my pelvic tilt corrected. I kid you not. I walk with much more ease, no lower back pain, and they look so nice and are easy to wear with lots of different outfits. I am really amazed at the comfort and the great value. I haven't thrown out my birkenstocks yet, but I'm thinking about it.One caution: the degree to which your heel is lower than your toes is significant (you CAN feel it), so if you have back problems different than mine, I can see how these could bother you. All and all, though, a great sandal.
