This pair is surprisingly easy to walk in, and fits fairly well. If they had offered half sizes I woulda've gotten an 8 1/2, the 8 fits, but my toes go over the edge very slightly, but not enough to get a 9. I am normally an 8 or 8 and a half so the sizes are pretty true to whatever you normally wear. I love how they have 2 straps, that makes me feel more secure while walking in them- they don't flip up like flip-flops and you don't have to concentrate on keeping them on- just being sexy!

The shoes are well built as far as the heel is concerned, they are high but the position and the width of the heel are great support, you feel you are on solid ground.They run true to size, definitely do not go up more than 1/2 size if you are in any sort of doubt.Why not a 5, simple the lower band hits my foot in such a way that after a few hours of the day and walking back and forth from meetings, to the car etc. you feel a bit of a squeeze as on the right side of the foot.So for example these are not shoes I would go dancing with, unless I planned to sit every dance out.But at the end of the day shoe is pretty much worth it, if you got it at the reduced price that is.

I just bought a pair of the dark brown shoes and they are fantastic! I couldn't be happier with them. First of all, they are very cute shoes- I get lots of compliments on them but, more importantly, they are truly comfortable. I usually get a blister the first few times I wear any new shoe, even with a flip flop/thong type of shoe. I did NOT with these shoes. The part across the top of the foot was very comfortable as was the part between the toe. I didn't even get a red, rubbed spot. The previous reviewer has it dead on- they are like walking on pillows but with some arch support! I am a teacher and stood on my feet for six hours the first day I wore these and they felt GREAT. I just ordered a second pair in black.

I have a wider foot and usually wear a size 7. I ordered a 7.5 in these, as I do with most thong type shoes, and they fit perfectly. I don't know that I would pay $70 just to get the red shoe but I am thrilled with the sale price on the dark brown and black!

I bought this pair because the Steve Madden Lynbrooks I bought were a tad too big (I overestimated the size). Having said that, I really wasn't expecting too much from it. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived--not only did the sandals look so much cuter than they do in the pictures, they were super comfortable as well. My job entails a lot of walking and standing up and I was wearing them the whole day without my feet hurting (or having my legs go numb as was the case with my Nine West Nadelles).

I got them in black but I think the Chocolate would look great as well. I will definitely look for more Tribeca shoes in the future.
