I ordered Mephisto Hannel sandals about 4 years ago. They saved my feet. I was having terrible problems with my arches and the soles of my feet. After breaking them in they were perfectly fitted to my feet. I can't remember how long they took to break in, but I do remember that they felt funny for a little while when they were new. Then--bliss. After wearing them constantly at home over the last 4 years they are worn down, but in one piece, save for some cork along the sides. Also I had to punch in new buckle holes for the buckles because the leather relaxed after about 2 years. So now I'm looking for a new pair for the next 4 years. This is not a review of this seller. I bought mine at the mall.
