Review of Orthaheel Women's Tide Thong Sandals

I just returned mine for three reasons; the first is the bag they came was marked size 7 (what I ordered) but the shoes themselves were clearly marked with a size 6, I ordered a brownish color and got the blue and finally, and the real reason I returned them was, they were simply not worth $55.00, they were alright but maybe worth $19.99, don't waste your money.
Oh yes and the FootSmart customer service people were very nice and helpful and this review is in no way meant to slam the company in general.

I am a hard to fit size 5 and sometimes 4 1/2 in a sandal, depending on the brand.

Amazingly quick shipping saved my life - I had totally forgotten about the bride's request that we wear "silver strappy high heeled sandals."Specificity is key for brides, apparently.Pros:I got lots and lots off compliments on these shoes.Comfort - that padded front insole and the platform help a lot but won't totally eliminate end of the evening blues. Con: the ankle strap rubbed me the wrong way - no matter how I adjusted it, it rubbed a raw spot in my ankle. Overall, not a bad shoe for what it was. Review of Chaco Women's ZX/1 DSTL Sandal

I have size 10 wide feet and a big frame, so maybe these just aren't the right fit for my build / foot type. I think it's important to note that I do not have trouble finding shoes that fit, especially sporty sandals. I received the shoes in great shape and was pleased with how they look. The foot bed felt great but the straps cut in and hurt because there is no give. I would go to a local store and try these on before ordering online if you choose a merchant that requires that you cover return shipping. That way you can be sure and save money at the same time. I'm glad that Chaco is trying to be environmentally responsible so maybe I'll try Chaco shoes again some other time.
I was annoyed at losing money to return the shoes and that my refund was distributed among future "subscribe and save" standing orders and some back on the credit card in a weird way that doesn't make any sense. I had to do research to account for everything. Maybe this is unique to gift card purchases. Anyway, next time I think I might need to return something for a reason other than being damaged I will be sure and read the fine print.

Review of Nine West Women's Kwest Platform Sandal

I bought these shoes in the pink/purple and fell in love. I wore them for 4 hours (I only walked around town in them- no drinking & dancing or something else that would be considered "reckless behavior")and was so disappointed! Where the material is seamed to the sole, the material wore and the coloring came off! So there are white creases on the inside and outside of the bands that looks cheap. Also, some of the heel covering (it is a thin foam layer over plastic meant to look like wood) has already started to wear off in places.
Update: I contacted Nine West & they replaced the shoes with a new pair so I was impressed with their service. However I had the same problem with the pattern wear on the new ones as well so I think it is a design flaw.

Review of Mia Women's Cajun Strappy Huarache Wedge

I bought these at a store called MIXX in Miami.. I absolutely fell in LOVE with these sandals as soon as I saw them. I have them in bronze, and they go with everything. They have a vintage feel to them, without looking like they came straight out of your gram's closet. I got these in 7.5, my usual size, and they fit great, despite the fact that my feet are a little wide.
All in all, a very good buy.

I'm a girl who loves to wear 4-inch platforms. I hate flat shoes. When these shoes were first recommended to me, I scoffed at how low they were. And, to be honest, they aren't the prettiest shoes you'll ever own. But, no joke... once you put them on, you will never want to take them off. I bought them in blue, and I wore them all last summer and well into the fall. If I thought I could get away with wearing them with socks for the winter, I would (and I hate people who wear socks with sandals).

These were great for our vacation last year, which was nothing but walking, walking, walking. Not one blister! They keep your feet cool and dry with no chafing. The rubber front is great for clumsy people like me who trip a lot... no stubbed toes!

I wear them when I take the dog to the river. I can go right in with her. Walking on the slippery rocks is a breeze because of the traction. When you come out, just shake off the excess water, and they dry pretty quickly.

They might seem pricey, but I would gladly pay twice as much as I did for these seriously awesome shoes. The looks have grown on me, too. I get compliments on them everywhere I go. And I tell everyone I can how amazing these shoes are. My husband mocks me that I sound like I work for them or should be their spokesperson. Hey, powers-that-be at Keen, give me more shoes and I'll be your spokesperson!!!

The only negative thing I have found about them is the weird foot tan I had all summer from wearing them so much. But, it's not like I ever had on another pair of shoes for anyone to notice!!

OH another thing... you can throw them in the washing machine!! I've washed them a few times now after trips to the river. They come out looking like the day you bought them.

Pros: durable, breathes well, lightweight, comfortable, washable

Cons: foot tan, you may never want to wear another shoe again

then this is the shoe for you.there's a huge flea market out here in texas where vendors come to sell new and used stuff on a monthly basis and i bought my firt pair of yellowbox sandals there...the most comfortable sandals i've found.i practically live in flip flops 8-9 months a year and i'm amazed at how well my flip flops from last year have held up and still look great despite being worning on a nearly daily basis.i have approx. 5 pair of yellow box flip flops, and i recently got the last pair here on amazon (they can be tricky to find), and couldn't be more thrilled.they're pricey, but worth every penny.the funky rhinestones and animal hair embellished with skulls, hearts, etc.they just can't be beat and don't look homemade and i'm amazed, again, at the level of quality.i am a yellow box girl for life, and couldn't recommended this brand, more specifically, these Marie Sandals, to enough people.you won't be disappointed.

Review of Steve Madden Women's Shicago Ankle Strap Sandal

I love this shoe, have it in pewter and just ordered the fuschia; however, it isn't for everyone. I have an average-to-wide foot with skinny ankles and it is very flattering on, BUT the way it's designed has the top of the ankle/t-strap hitting in a spot that would rub a lot if my ankles were any larger. Although Steve Madden also has a tendency to run large I ended up true-to size in this. The Shicago is every bit as cute on the foot as it is in the picture but I HIGHLY recommend trying it on in a local store (like Nordstrom) before ordering it online.

Uber Chic Shoes! I ordered these in the gold/leopard. Since they are wedges they are easy to slide on. The heel is high though (approx 4 1/2 inches with an inch high platform). The criss/cross gold straps fit snugly but not to tight across the foot, (I have an average foot).They fit true to size and don't give that "chunky" appearance/look that some wedge heels have a tendency to do. Stylish comfortable shoes.
